More birthday weekend

While we were in Indianapolis for my birthday, I went out to dinner on Friday night with daddy, mommy, Ems, Mouse, and Papa Jon. They had some really great crackers. Yum!

On Sunday, I went to the pool with my cousins. It was fun, until a big thunder storm. We had to get ready to leave, and while mommy was packing up my things, I decided to try walking.

I pushed this chair all over the place. I was pretty proud of myself. Everyone else was pretty proud of me too!

Happy 1st Birthday!!

I had a really fun first birthday party. It was in Indianapolis at Mouse's and Papa Jon's house. We had it there, because daddy was still living there until the end of June. It worked out really well, because lots of my family came!

Of course, Mouse and Papa Jon were there. Ems came from Colorado and stayed with me and mommy in Michigan before we all drove down to Indy. Grandpa Mike drove from Colorado, too. Grandpa Chip, Stacie, Great Grandma Bev, and Bob came from Grand Rapids, and Uncle Chris and my cousins Jake and Jessica came from Chicago.

There were lots of balloons and a yummy cake with ladybugs on it. I had my own special cake.

At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it. The frosting felt funny! But mommy gave me a little piece in my mouth, and then I thought it was good!
