Trip to Indianapolis
Last Friday, mommy and I drove to Indianapolis. It was very sad to say goodbye to Ems, because we had such a wonderful three weeks together. But it was time to visit daddy!! We left Grand Rapids about 6pm, so that I could sleep in the car. The plan worked. I slept great starting around 7:00.
When we got there, daddy rushed right out and gave me a big hug. I was pretty sleepy, but I woke up when I realized who was holding me. I showed him a couple of my new tricks, but then I had to go to bed. It was great to see him again in the morning. I had some breakfast and showed off my cheerio eating skills. Then we played on the floor and laughed and laughed. I chased a ball all around the floor.
We all went out to dinner on Saturday night to the Rock Bottom Brewery. Daddy and mommy were happy to go there - the very first one is in Boulder, and they like it. I got to sit on daddy's lap the whole time and eat my dinner. We had a highchair, but daddy was so happy to hold me.
On Sunday, we went to the Children's Museum. It was really neat. There were lots of fun things to look at and play with. Mommy and I went up into a tree house. I played in a big tub of water. I stood right next to that tub and played and played!
I am a very good splasher!
I sat down in the garden and played with pretty flowers. I could pick them and hand them to mommy. They were very soft and colorful.
I had a good time in Indianapolis. It was so great to see daddy. I got lots and lots of hugs and kisses. And some tickling and giggling, too.
Only two weeks now until I see him again. We're going to meet again in Indianapolis for Easter. Yay!
